Today was the first day I’ve been able to get into my new classroom. The new school will open next Wednesday with kids filling the seats; however, parts of the school are STILL under construction. The next week will be an interesting one.
It’s the week before a new school year, at a new school, with almost all new people I’m working with, a new AP, a new classroom, a new…everything.
What should a teacher in this situation be doing? Planning…preparing the classroom…reading…writing syllabi…decorating bulletin boards…
