    I find that video to be extremely insulting -I proudly vote Republican, and am aghast that there are those out there that would belittle me, my education and opinion solely because it does not fit in and agree with their world view! Where is the multiculturalism. I vote Republican and I support small neighborhood business. I I vote Republican, and want a cure for AIDS and cancer (which is why I’m willing to make certain exceptions for animal testing -unlike many of my Democratic friends . . .), I voting Republican because while I support public school teachers (more power to you Tamara!!) I allow for the idea that private schools are not only for white upper class shnooks, I vote Republican because I trust women and look up to them, but feel that the sanctity of life is something that goes far beyond me or you . . .     -Listen, I may disagree with others, I may even feel that I have the truth (don’t we all) . . . but I realize that the complexity of the human story and the right of free choice given to me by G-d and enforced by this country, allow for plurality of ideas. I disagree with many, many ideas out there, but I don’t stoop to smugness. This video is in truth what caused me to write why liberals scare me. If one is truly open minded, which is what a Progressive person should be, then my opinion and truth is equally valid! I’m insulted that Hamas and Ahmendinijad are allowed to their truths, that their opinions are respected -even if looked down upon as wrong- yet they same people will label me a troglodyte. That video is offensive, it purports that anyone who thinks right of them is stupid, close minded and backwards! Laugh off my shtick and explain it away -in the end of the day it puts me down.

    Thanks for posting this. Made me smile. It has been awhile since I saw it and posted it myself, but for me… it was one of the highlights of the campaign. I felt like Democrats rose up and took charge of this election from start to finish and spoke their minds. It made a huge, huge difference.

    Honestly, this video was a tad…um, bigoted. Everything that I’m against…

    I’m Republican, and I’m a teacher. It rather made me ill. Liberals don’t scare me, but this video is offensive to me.

    I am a bit slow on this, Obama already won, but I just want to say I love this video. It is satirical and is truthful to what Bush has done to the Republican party. Perhaps part of the party is not like this representation, but it is true to the Bush administration. They have destroyed our government and made our nation distrusted by countries that were once our friends. Medical research and care has lost ground and the middle class just don’t count. I hope Obama is able to rebuild what was so badly broken.
