I teach because I desire and know that I have the ability and the power to make a difference in the lives of young adults.
I teach because I had a teacher who changed my life and I hope to scratch the surface of change in the lives of others.

Have you ever read a book called “The Power of their Ideas”? It’s a bout a small high school in manhattan that was one of the first in the small schools movement. Deborah Meier, one of the founders and principal, wrote it and I found it very inspiring. Their mission as a school, was to help their students understand the “power of their ideas.” It sounds like you believe in them…now only…
